Meeting Norwich’s Donna Africa

During the Bedroom Tax protest outside Norwich City Hall I had the opportunity to chat with Donna Thomson AKA Donna Africa. She mentions she was always looking for a good photographers and gave me her card. A week later we got the chance to meet and talk about some of the interesting things she has been upto in her life and also got to take some snaps.

I was great to work with Donna, she knew exactly what she wanted, no time to mess around, it was just pose, snap and move on! For all that I think we done rather well and came back with a nice selection of pictures of her in her 1950’s black dress and hat.

I tried my best not to photoshop too many aspects of the images, but suffice to say there is some photoshop work to reduce some of the distracting features.
