Sometimes I wonder if I should take action or just wait and see… When I heard from a contact that there was a blaze in Hevingham, just up the road from my home, I didn’t hesitate, grabbed my camera and went to the scene.  The Farm’s barns were pretty well ablaze by then, fire crews were on the scene and plenty of on lookers were there enjoying the show!   By chance I managed to speak to the farmer/owner who gave me permission to photograph what transpired.  As you can see the images were pretty dramatic.

Once home I quickly edited a selection of images and shared them with the local media.  Ended up with images on BBC Look East Local News, along with news reports on the BBC News website, EDP 24, Eastern Evening News, East Anglian Daily Times and North Norfolk News.

The only way I knew about this fire was to be told about it.  If you know of something’s going down that’s newsworthy, please give me a quick call!

Finally, our local TV channel, Mustard TV covered the story, using my images – video below.
